Yes We Can! Bike Ride

Hi there makers and shakers.
A lot of folks have been discussing how to speak out about the upcoming election. I invite all of us to do something TOGETHER. I've put together a project for us all called bike writing. I've planned a bike ride for the Providence folk (but if your not in Prov still keep reading!!!!) in which the route spells YES WE CAN ----- YES WE CAN put Obama in the white house and YES WE CAN embrace alternative forms of transportation. Let's be a moving force that takes to the streets! I'm making t-shirts and handouts for the Providence ride encouraging people to get out and VOTE. Moving coordinated masses speak loudly! Invite all your friends. I've set a date for the Providence event but I also shout out to all the folks in NYC, St. Louis (MO is a swing state!), Lawrence, Seattle and beyond to make your own route and create an event. I can definitely help you put it together and gather folks. I can also help you get t-shirts together if you want to do it in your town. Let me know if you want to take charge and head one up. Attached is a image of our route so you can get a picture of what I'm talking about. the providence BIKE WRITE
October 12 2008 2pm - ???????? Start is at Elmwood and Sacket street in the West Side (we will cover three hoods on the write) Please let me know if you wanna join the Providence event and btw you don't have to do the whole route...no pressure. There are other jobs too if you don't wanna write. You could meet us at the check points to help with flyers and/or film us.
If you are gonna come please also tell me what size American Apparel shirt you wear (they always run small). If you have friends that wanna join put them in touch with me.
